Koinup Launch the 1st Second Life Comics Competition
Milan, Italy (PRWEB) March 30, 2009 -- Koinup, leader company in social networking for virtual worlds, is glad to announce the launch of the 1st Second Life Comics Competition.
Virtual worlds and comics strips are the two major entertainments for millions of people. Koinup partner with the metaverse developer Deep Semaphore to create the 1st Virtual Worlds Comics Contest. The initiative is open to all the Comics enthusiasts and to all Second Life residents.
Virtual Worlds are a new way to express yourself and test your creative skills, by customizing your avatar or creating 3d objects. Koinup is actively supporting the creativity in virtual worlds, by launching initiatives, competitions and projects aimed at the virtual worlds people.
For the Comics Contest, Second Life has been picked as first choice, because of the wide opportunity this virtual world is giving to members for being creative and experiment with art.
Koinup is the first destination for thousands of Second Life (http://www.koinup.com/in-second-life/) members.
Partner of the initiative is Deep Semaphore, popular and active metaverse developer, who created a specific "Head Up Display", called Murku that allows Second Life members to create comics strips and graphical elements within the world of Second Life.
Koinup and Deep Semaphore are actively working to expand the initiative to other virtual worlds and organize further comics competitions.
Participants can enter their submission, up to 26th of April.
